Opportunity brokerage

The right introduction begins with a reason.

Vision Department reviews opportunities and presents them through a private network of professional introducers. We establish interest before placing both parties in direct contact.

What is an opportunity?

An offer, asset, service or request that may be relevant to someone within the network.

An opportunity may come from a business or a private individual. Some can be introduced to several potential counterparties. Others require one successful match.

We review the structure of each opportunity before deciding how it should be shared.

Six considered steps

From initial context to a direct introduction.

  1. 01

    Submit

An opportunity is submitted with enough context to understand the proposition.

  2. 02

    Review

We assess its legitimacy, commercial relevance and suitability for the network.

  3. 03

    Prepare

If accepted, we agree what may be disclosed and how it should be presented.

  4. 04

    Share

Selected introducers receive the information required to assess relevance.

  5. 05

    Confirm

Interest is established before either party is placed in direct contact.

  6. 06

    Introduce

We arrange the introduction. The parties decide whether and how to proceed.

A success fee may become payable when an introduction results in a completed transaction, subject to the relevant agreement.

Who Vision Department is for

Bring an opportunity.
Or bring the relevant relationship.

A

Opportunity owners

Businesses and private individuals may submit an opportunity for consideration. We ask for enough information to understand the proposition, the intended counterparty and the basis of the transaction.

  • Offers, assets, services or specific requests
  • Clear ownership or authority to proceed
  • Terms that can be assessed and explained
B

Introducers

The role is intended for people with established relationships across business, investment or private wealth. You decide whether an opportunity is relevant to someone you know. We provide context and manage the introduction process.

  • Relevant professional relationships
  • Sound judgement and clear communication
  • Respect for each opportunity's disclosure needs
Private by process Not by performance
Information is disclosed in stages, and only to the extent required to establish interest.

Sensitive details may remain confidential until the relevant parties have agreed to proceed. The handling of each opportunity depends on its commercial and personal context.

How decisions are made

Selectivity is a process,
not an adjective.

01

Every opportunity is reviewed

Submissions are assessed for legitimacy, commercial relevance and the strength of the underlying proposition.

02

Every introducer is considered

Introducers join through application, referral or direct invitation, based on experience, professional standing and areas of access.

03

Relevance comes before contact

An introduction is made once there is a reasonable basis for interest and both sides understand why they are being connected.
